Pregnancy isn’t always easy, or glamorous, but the profound connection we have with our babies, even in pregnancy, is nothing short of a miracle and deserves to be celebrated.
Maternity sessions are a time to take in and appreciate your growing family, so we’ll capture sweet moments with your loved ones as well as your growing belly. As your Madison maternity photographer, my goal is not only to give you beautiful photos, but to turn your cherished memories into tangible, heirloom artwork that you’ll enjoy for many years to come.
Maternity sessions always take place during Golden Hour – the hour before the sun sets. This is when the light is soft and glowy (and also the most flattering) and can give your images some extra magic. Maternity sessions take place on-location at one of my favorite outdoor spots around the Madison area.

As a mom of three myself, I am constantly inspired by motherhood and the profound connection that we have with our children.
And I can tell you first-hand that time slips by faster than you can ever be prepared for. Our babies grow and change day-to-day, week-to-week and month-to-month. And in the {beautiful} chaos of it all, we sometimes don't even realize it's happening until we look back at our photos.
Then you're suddenly taken back to how tiny your baby felt in your arms, the softness of their skin, and the tiny fingers and toes you counted over and over again. You recall the first time you looked in their eyes, feeling a love so pure it left you breathless.
And for this, I feel incredibly privileged to be able to capture these fleeting moments for you and help create lasting memories. Three - four weeks after your session, I’ll email you a link to see all of your beautifully finished photos in an online slideshow.
Once you've purchased your Collection, you can easily download your digitals and place your Artwork order, all conveniently within your gallery,
After you've viewed your slideshow, you'll purchase your Collection. You'll have three Collections to choose from – each including a number of Digitals as well as an Artwork Credit to use towards albums, frames and prints.

From maternity, to newborn, to that milestone one year session... imagine your baby's precious first year, so thoughtfully documented. The First Year Collective is a membership option that offers savings and perks for families looking to bundle multiple sessions and includes:
- Your choice of 2-4 Portrait Sessions to be used in the first 13 months of your baby's birth
- 25 complimentary birth announcements
- $100-$200 Collection discount, per session
- one membership fee, no additional session fees

Babies grow and change in the blink of an eye. Never miss a moment by joining The First Year Collective -- a membership that offers significant savings for multiple sessions and is the perfect way to document your baby and all of their sweet details, starting in pregnancy and throughout their first year.
Most mom's choose to document a Madison maternity photography session, newborn, 6 and 12 month session, but you can select 2-4 sessions from any combination of maternity, hospital fresh 48, newborn, 3 mo, 6 mo, 9 mo, or 12 month sessions.

As early in your pregnancy as possible! Madison maternity photography sessions can book out months in advance so reach out as soon as you’re considering a maternity session for up-to-date availability. Typically around 33 weeks works well. First Year Collective members receive priority access to my calendar.

When is the best time to book a madison maternity photography session?
Yes! I have a client wardrobe with over 70 dresses for mom to choose from, as well as a growing wardrobe for little ones. Or, since I understand everyone has their own style, I know you may want to style your own family and that’s also great! I have helpful styling resources you can take and make your own, so together we’ll coordinate your family’s wardrobe so you can rest assured knowing everyone will look and feel their best.

Yes! I strive to offer the best of the best to my clients, and I know that quality photography services are an investment. Together we can find a payment plan that works for your family.

I personally love the Layflat albums. I love that you can print so many photos from your session and enjoy them over and over again. Not to mention, the cover material and design options are absolutely stunning and such a unique statement piece. But I also smile every time I walk past the framed portraits on the walls in my home. Every family is unique! And I can’t wait to help you decide the best way to enjoy your photos in your home!
